HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE ORANGE STICKS #desserts #easy

Chocolate Orange Sticks are one of my outright most loved occasion treats! When I was a child, consistently my father would get a case of chocolate canvassed orange sticks in his stocking for Christmas and he was exceptionally pleasant to share since I figured out how to adore them as well! I as of late found a formula for this uncommon treat and I was extremely apprehensive that they wouldn't taste tantamount to the sort in the container, yet the hand crafted rendition was far superior! They turned out astonishing! In the same way as other sweet formulas, the procedure takes a tad of time yet it is unquestionably justified, despite all the trouble.

You can store these for seven days at room temperature (possibly more, yet they've never endured that long at my home!) despite everything they taste new! Since they are so natural to store, this makes this sweet the ideal treat to ship to loved ones who live far away – these hold up superior to a ton of other custom made treats.

Chocolate Orange Sticks are made with a scrumptious orange jam filling plunged in liquefied chocolate - a most loved occasion sweets!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp unflavored gelatin I used 4 of the little packets
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 Tbsp frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon extract
  • 1 tsp orange extract
  • 5-6 drops orange food coloring
  • 12 oz melting chocolate or chocolate almond bark

Instructions

  1. Soften the gelatin in cold water and set aside.
  2. Combine sugar and hot water, stir until dissolved. Bring to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the gelatin mixture and slowly boil on medium-low heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour into well-greased molds. I've used silicone molds and mini loaf pans and the loaf pans work just as well as the silicone mold.
  4. Let stand over night and then dip into melted chocolate. I also drizzled a little white chocolate on top just for fun. Enjoy!
