I know I simply posted a potato formula a week ago, yet I had loads of extra garnishes, so I figured I should go through them and do another! You may see that this formula is entirely like the simple prepared potato skins I made a week ago. But so unique! Who might have felt that potato tots would make such an amazing tidbit!?
Furthermore, they're tasty. Perhaps excessively delectable. I had 4 stacked potato tot sticks for lunch yesterday. Maybe not the most calorie cognizant decision, yet YUM. I plunged them in sharp cream and each chomp resembled paradise on a stick. I don't know why, yet I find that everything tastes better when it's on a kebab?!?
Indeed, even my multi year old cherished them. We ate the remaining sticks with supper the previous evening and she resembled, "Goodness, mother, these are great!?" They're fastidious little eaters so she was astounded that she enjoyed it. You know, on account of how extravagant they are. *wink*
Yet, it's not astounding by any means. Cheddar? Yum… Bacon? Yum… Potatoes? Yum… It's softened gooey goodness! I was roused by the stunning plans over at The Country Chic Cottage, Made With Happy and Homemade Interest. So natural to make and soooo yummy!

- Tater Tots (about 48 pieces)
- ½ cup cheddar cheese, grated
- ¼ cup real bacon bits
- 1-2 green onions, chopped
- sour cream
Instructions
- Bake the tater tots according to the package directions. I baked mine at 425F for 28 minutes, flipping them once half way through.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- When they're cool enough to pick up with your fingers, add 4 to 6 tater tots to each skewer.
- Place the skewers on a parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle the cheese on top of the tater tots, then the bacon bits, and finally half of the chopped green onion.
- Return them to the oven and bake for another 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle them with the remaining green onions.
- Serve with sour cream.
