- 20 uncooked jumbo pasta shells
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1 jar salsa, divided
- 3 oz. cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup Mexican blend cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until no longer pink and drain.
- Stir in taco seasoning mix, 1 cup of salsa and cream cheese. Stir in about 1/4 cup of shredded cheese.
- Fill each shell with ground beef mixture and place in a greased baking dish. Top each shell with a drizzle of extra salsa.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 20 minutes until heated through.
- Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake, uncovered, for about 3-5 more minutes until the cheese is melted.
